Conte says there are no injury problems ahead of Saturday’s game with Leicester, and everybody is available.
Conte on Eden Hazard: ‘He is improving a lot and I think now I can count on him. I have to decide the right minutes but he is available. I spoke with Roberto Martinez and tried the right way to improve Eden’s fitness. I was very happy for him to play.’
Conte on Danny Drinkwater: ‘We are working with him and trying to make him in the best condition. He’s working very well and in the squad.’
Conte on Davide Zappacosta: ‘He is in good physical condition. He knows very well which is my style and my idea. It’s more simple to adapt.’ Conte says Zappacosta can still improve but has good quality and makes good runs. He says it’s important he has the right mentality here.
Conte on the transfer window: ‘The club tried to do its best. Sometimes you are able to buy, sometimes you are not for many reasons.’ Conte also says he agrees with the Premier League decision to close the transfer window earlier next season.
Conte on Leicester: ‘It will be difficult. I watched their previous games & saw a very strong team with great concentration & very focused.’ Conte says we must pay great attention to Vardy and Mahrez, and also mentions Harry Maguire, Wes Morgan and Christian Fuchs.
Conte on Barkley reports….
Chelsea have signed Davide Zappacosta on a four-year deal from Torino.
Zappacosta said: ‘It is a dream for me to join Chelsea and play in the Premier League. I am very excited to be here and start working with the team. I hope I can show my quality to the coach, my team-mates and the supporters.’

Speaking to SFR Sport, Bakayoko said: “Yeah, I held on. Of course, it wasn’t easy, I needed to get the rhythm. The Premier League is so different from Ligue 1.”
“I got to see it from the first minutes. So I needed to be ready. In general, I’m a little bit mixed about my game. I had some good moments, but some bad moments too.”
“Like I said, I need to get the rhythm. It was first match since the injury so, it will come, but I’m happy overall.”
When asked about his Chelsea & Premier League debut, Bakayoko said: “It was something special. It was my first match coming back from my injury.”
“Since I signed, I was looking forward to wear that shirt. That’s done now, I’m really happy and we won too so it was a very good day.”
“I’m happy for the team, we get our first three points so it’s great for the future.”
“I didn’t expect to play 90 minutes on the pitch.”
