With reports and rumors flying around at pretty much every sport news outlet about potential Chelsea target Lukaku moving to Manchester United, The Times claims that Chelsea’s interest lies elsewhere. In Swansea City striker Fernando Llorente to be exact.
Llorente played for Antonio Conte back in the 2013-14 season at Juventus, scoring 18 goals in 45 appearances as Juventus won their third consecutive Serie A title.
Chelsea tried to sign Llorente back in January this year but Swansea refused to let him go. Luckily, that was a good choice for them seeing that Llorente was their top scorer with 13 goals which helped them avoid relegation.
Tammy Abraham signed a new 5 year Chelsea contract yesterday and was loaned out to Swansea City. This could possible make Swansea agree to selling their main striker to the Blues.
Tammy Abraham has today signed a new five-year contract at Chelsea, keeping him at the club until June 2022. He will be sent on a season long loan at Swansea which is good considering he’ll be playing in the Premier League. Last season he scored 26 goals while on loan at Bristol City and is considered a highly talented and rising star at Chelsea. Only good things are expected from this lad.
Welcome, @tammyabraham… 🙌
